Fundamentals of IT Project Management
This is Project Management with a focus on Information Technology. This course tightly aligns with the PMBOK®. Choose this course for your lead network engineers and senior IT support personnel. This will provide an excellent preparation for the engineer who needs to cross-pollinate with business processes, and project management.
Our team taught this at Georgetown University in 2008 as part of the Project Management curriculum. The students began with this course. Then they completed their Certificate in Project Management at Georgetown. Many are now testing for their PMP® certifications.
We emphasis case studies. We focus on IT Projects and Risk Management. We are perhaps the only IT Project Management curriculum that exercises the students workplace relationship skills. Leadership, followership, conflict resolution, and personal relationship skills will benefit any Mission Critical IT organizations.
