Mr. Stephens has over 20 years of practical hands-on project management. He is an experienced operations professional and strategist with hands-on experience in business start-ups and business analysis. His expertise includes analysis of technical and business operations and the development and execution of business models to plan. These efforts have included commercial and Department of Defense projects that now range in the tens of millions of dollars. Most of his recent experience has been in the technology realm where topics as varied as telecommunications, virtual reality, and portfolio management have been addressed with a particular focus on the financial aspects of running these efforts. George is a Multi-Discipline Systems Engineer, Lead for MITRE. A not-for profit, MITRE manages three federally funded research and development centers (FFRDC) and a dedicated homeland security center. A natural communicator and educator, George shares his extensive Project Management experience as an Instructor for Winner Consulting LLC. George is a former enlisted Marine that has since earned his BA in Business from LeTourneau University in Dallas, Texas and his MS in Technology Management from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He earned both degrees while working full time. He earned his Project Management Professional certification in December of 2005.
